Sasha Grey was born on March 14, 1988 in Sacramento, California. She is an american porn actress but she is also knows for her modelling, acting and her music.After she grew up she moved to Los Angeles and began her porn career at age of 18.
When she moved to Los Angeles in May 2006 she originally was named Anna Karina before deciding to use her another name. She took "Sasha" from the band member Sascha Konietzko and "Grey" from Oscar Wilde's novel "The Picture of Dorian Gray". Her first role was an orgy in John Stagliano's movie "The Fashionistas 2". After 6 month in adult industry she was featured in Los Angeles Magazin as the next Jenna Jameson. Later in January 2007 she was awarded for "Best Group Scene" at the AVN awards. She was named Pet of The Month in July 2007 and was protographed by Terry Richardson.
In 2008 she was the youngest person who won the award for "Female Performer of the Year" at AVN Awards. In February 2007 she was on The Tyra Banks Show discussing about teenagers in the sex industry. In April 2009 she went to Brandeis University talking in front of 300 studens about teenagers and their sex life. She appeared in an episode of "James Gunn's PG Porn" and she make a cameo in Dick Rude's movie "Quit".
In 2009 she got a role in the Canadian horror movie "Smash Cut", playing a tv-news presenter who goes undecover as an actress in the horror production and she dicovers her older sister's murderer.
The also got the lead in the Oscar winner Steven Soderbergh's movie "The Girlfriends Experience".
In 2008 she alson began her music collaboration with Pablo St. Francis forming a band called ATelecine. She is also the vocal for Current 93's album "Aleph at Hallucinatory Mountain".
